Chocolate Chip Day

Hi Friends,

Happy Chocolate Chip Day! We didn't know chocolate chip day was a thing until we were looking for days to celebrate with our families this month. I mean, this is one day that we just could not ignore. Who doesn't love an excuse to chow down on some chocolate chips?! We sure didn't have to think twice! There are countless ways to celebrate chocolate chip day!

We got cooking in the kitchen to bring some deliciousness into our homes today in honor of this wonderful day!

At Leah's house they whipped up a batch of chocolate chip pancakes. This was such an easy way to add a little fun while making a crowd pleaser meal and also make it feel like a special day.

At Elizabeth's house they cranked out a batch of giant chocolate chip cookies, these are her husband's secret recipe and they never disappoint!

Elizabeth also had happy kids!

Celebrating these little holidays has been such a fun and bright spot in our homes. We love taking extra time to do just a little something that brings added joy into our day. Whether we keep it simple or go all out it really doesn't matter. It always seem to add an element of fun and makes some special memories with our kids.
